Post Aphid Infestation question

Charleston, SC(Zone 9a)

After repeated applications of soap/water to my pepper plants, I think that I finally have the aphids in check.

My question is, what about the plants that were impacted. I have one Tabago pepper that has five leaves, most of which are brown (only a little green). Is there any special care to nurse such a plant back or should I give up on it?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Whenever I have had plants preyed upon by aphids, I keep a close watch on the nodes, to see if there is any life left in the plant. And if not after a week, I usually give up.

How long did you have the aphids? I believe it takes a long time for the aphids to actually kill the plant- and usually they'll leave just before they kill it. That's another way I know its dead. If they give up on it, well then, it's probably a goner.

Nasty little buggers huh, I hate those things! As for special care, someone else will have to say, hope this helps :)
