To reot or not...that is the quesstion!

The large middle bulb bloomed beautifully last year. the babies just came up. No one is doing anything as yet, but I am watering them. Should I repot? Some kind member said that she thought I should wait until after they bloom. They are jus so crammed in there...you can see the roots circling in the photo. Also will they be seperate or attatched to each other? Thanks!

And I still say it LOL

Seriously, the bulb won't be producing many more new roots this season so if one breaks off in the transition, that's it for this year, if a lot break or become damaged, that's a lost bulb. A lot of bulbs don't mind and sometimes even enjoy a certain amount of restriction. It won't harm the plants this year and if you're worried about the pot tipping over, place the whole thing in a bigger pot for now.

If you choose to repot (and who am I to say you must do something, because I often do things my own way too) just take a great deal of care with those roots :)
