You have had some luck with HG blooming in the past, haven't you Larry? It seems like I remember being quite jealous that you were able to get it to bloom so well. LOL!! I hope you get this one to bloom and get her pollinated with a great donor pollen. Great pictures!!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

boy, you got lots of pods!! Lucky! I have bad luck with pods.. lose them or not grow any pods! :o(

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Wow, you sure do have the touch Larry, two times flowering in less than a year!

WOW,I was doing a happy dance cause mine Y'd.....don't know what I'll do if I get a bud!

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

Probably the 1st 10-20 on mine feel off before some decided to stay and grow. I have two plants now and both have buds, but one is losing them. I think I have solved the mystery, but want share the info untill I feel that I have for sure.

Larry, I sure hope you can solve the mystery even though I gave mine away last year because of dropping its buds and never seeing a bloom after a couple of years.

Frannie, I think one of the clues is to not fertilize or do so very little once it starts to form buds. HG may just be different from most brugs.

Gosh, I want an HG!!! Good for you Larry, looks like you have found the secret. My aunt thinks mine will surely die soon because of all the fertilizer, tho I continue to tell her it is not as strong as a typical dose. SherryLike

Good Deal Larry... mine has finally budded again and if the hot weather holds off I will see blooms this time. I find that HG does not care for Florida's hot and humid summers by showing its displeasure in dropping every bud that it produced.
