Maxine, mine have not budded yet so don't give up hope. They are very winter hardy...
Mine are just beginning to bud. Hope yours are still alive. They are pretty hard to kill in my zone.

I have volunteers from two tree/shrubs. One is a pale pink, almost looks white with pinkish center; and the other is a deep pink.
