I just planted my first brug in a large pot in my garden. I have noticed in the pictures posted that no one seems to underplant the brugs with any annuals, etc. to cover the soil. Is there a reason for this, or would it be OK to put some begonias, etc. under the brug?

I think a lot of people underplant. Someone should come along here, like Brugie or Kell. I think both of them do. I planted mine directly in the ground and have lantana, dwarf cosmos and other assorted stuff planted beneath them. Gretchen
