Hi folks - finally checking in.
I've been through quite a bit over the past week and a half: Went from Albany to London (flight was delayed - arrive after midnight then had a full day of meetings), then flew to Dublin the next night (terrible ordeal - they even charged me an extra $120 for my bags), spent the night in Dublin then drove up to Northern Ireland. It was GORGEOUS - truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I lov ed it. *happy smile*
The scale - I finally weighed on Monday - shudder. I will use that as my baseline for the challenge. I was very high, but at least it will be a good number to lose 7 pounds in the next 7 weeks.
Sadly, I am in the work hard, skip meals, big dinner mode, but I hope to be able to resolve that by Monday by going shopping for good food over the weekend. I also want to spend time learning to drive the city. Unfortunately, many streets are one way and the worst part, the same street changes names from block to block. Talk about getting lost. I was proud of myself to finally drive to work today - only a mile or so, but very roundabout.
I won't be able to report my weight until Monday since I cannot log in from the hotel, but I will weigh on Saturday and report on Monday.
