What to plant with Sunflowers?

I have about 35 sunflower seedlings, half are the 7 foot kind, the other half have large heads but only reach 2 feet. I will be planting them along a west-facing fence and would like some ideas for companion plants. There is nothing planted along that fence now, and I've been trying to think of some perennials that would go nicely with sunflowers or other tall annuals. If you have any ideas for perennials or annuals please send them my way! The flowers in my yard are purple, blue, cream, white, yellow and a little pink, and I'd like to stick with that scheme if possible. Thanks!
