I got this plant last weekend in Chicago..it's called "Petra"Smaller sized flower but the beauty of the colors together make up for it. :-)

CC this one doesn't need grafting so it will grow as cuttings..maybe later this summer I can get some going. It came as three stems in the pot..but all three look different. LOL that figures..

Do many of them need grafting?

Most large flowered hybrids grow poorly on their own roots. But it is possible to grow them as such.Grafting makes quick multiplication possible.

She sure is pretty. So, will you graft them or just do cuttings from her? I didn't know this about hibiscus. Kyle, I have buds on Pink Wings...in the house no less.

Shirley,
One thing I can't do is graft plants...:-( I guess I jus be stoopid. LOL

Maybe we should learn how to do this. I'd still like to have a three in one brug if I thought all three would live over the winter. LOL!
