I grow this under deciduous trees, so it has sun in winter and spring but shade all summer and fall. It spreads voraciously from runners but is fairly easy to pull out so far. There are some fire pinks growing nearby...makes a hot color combo in April.

That is a great evegreen groundcover. The bloom color reminds me of my yellow blooming sedum. The colr is a greenish yellow and quite bright. This may be a plant I will ask for a cutting from layer on. Thanks for sharing it.

You can have all you want, I pull out a lot of it each year. Remind me later on to send some. I do love it because it fills in an otherwise difficult spot, and the bright chartreuse blooms really contrast to the firepinks and sweet williams that are blooming at the same time nearby. If you don't want it all over, put it in a pot and sink it in the ground. It is shallowrooted.

Thanks. I will remind you.

I just found out this is what I have in my garden. I love the fragrance that mine has. The bold yellow color mixed with my tulips and daffodils looks fantastic for a spring garden.
