Labels - inkjet or laser?

I have an inkjet printer, but the laser labels were on sale so I bought them instead. When I checked the ticket at home, I didn't get the discount anyway. Does it make a difference if the package says laser instead of inkjet? What's the difference between the labels? They're Avery labels, the kind that you print your address on and peel each one off as you need them. I don't want to open the package if I need to take them back and switch them out.
