Good afternoon, farm folks!
We had a cool and rainy weekend, but the rain was much needed. The lilacs are in full bloom, and smell heavenly.

My granddaughter got her official name before God and family, this weekend. Her name is Joy Kayleen. Her other grandma's name is Kay, and mine is Eileen, so they combined them to name her after both grandmas. She is a beautiful baby and she and her Mama are both doing well.
Wishing that I didn't work so much, so I could spend more time with them.

Eva Mae, "In His Steps" is one of my favorite books too. There is a modern version, "What would Jesus Do?", that is written by his grandson, and is a good one to share with young people.
