Wow, I never saw one so blue! Ours are lilac-colored here.

They are a lavender that has a lot of blue in it. As they mature they lose some of the blue tone so there are various shades of blooms at the same time. Also because it has been a very cool spring, the color has more blue in it. I planted these last year. It took them quite some time to establish themselves. They are now spreading very nicely. During the winter, their leaves turned a beautiful purplish color. The new growth is bright green. The photos are not appearing for some reason.

The photos are slow and so are the newsletters for me. A couple of days I never did get the letter and I went to the website and viewed it. Today I did not get one by 7 am...that's about the time I gave up. I am not sure when it did download but it is here now at almost 5 pm. Poor Dave and Terry and Baa and whomever else has to edit all these entries are probably overwhelmed. They are again predicting a freeze..I better go cover the hostas.

Hope it didn't freeze. Your photo showed up. My woodland phlox blooms are darker than yours.

It didn't freeze...now I need to go out and take off all the 5 gallon buckets, large flower pots, etc. We probably got a light frost out in the open areas, but that is typical for this time of year here.
The newsletter is posted at Daves early in the day, it is just not arriving at my email as early as it used to.
Guess I better quit this...lots to do today!
