Wanna Trade?
Would you be interested in trading for seeds?
I have just ordered a bunch of seeds, some in bulk, that you might be interested in. I have records of them somewhere in this pile of papers in my 5' X 5' "office" downstairs. But I'd rather let you know when I actually get them, rather than let you down.
A few of them are listed on "Pond,........" thread, I think. I can't remember for sure, cause I talk to her on several threads.
How do you feel about cannas? I have some tall orange ones with green leaves that I have really enjoyed. But they need to be moved out into the sun, as the trees have really grown since they were planted.
I also have some variety of tall white blooming ginger lilies, that smell like gardenias. I don't have ID's on either of these, as they came with the house 13 years ago. But both seem to thrive.
I plan to keep most of the gingers and some of the cannas, but I have limited sunny areas to move them to, and a lot of other plants competing for this space as well. So I have some of each to share.
You don't know anyone who wants English Ivy, or Virginia Creeper do you? I've got plenty of that that I have to get rid of. We're just throwing it away, so someone in a cooler climate might enjoy either of them in a more controlled area.
The tiger lilies are beautiful. I've never tried "real" lilies before, other than daylilies, etc. My momma was scared to try them, said it was too hot and they were too much trouble. But I have a number of plants thriving that she said that about, so she probably just didn't like them for some reason!
Anyhoo, that's what I have right now.
Missed you on the usual sites lately. Hope you're doing OK.

I got some of these seeds as a freebie from Amber when I bought other seeds. I have planted them and managed to get about 6 plants (still seedling size) from them (through no fault of Jadare seeds, but due to my inexperience of germination) Anyway, I have some of these that I just switched over to 4" pots yesterday. I also have some items in my member store (go to my member page and click on Molly's Folly) that we could use for trade if you are interested. I would like some tiger lilies and I have had some seeds for them from trades, but having trouble germinating them.
I also have a skyvine we can take clippings from, red or purple passiflora we can clip. I have some cannas if you have any interest there, some variagated leaves, some green, some burgundy.
Let me know.. YOu didnt indicate if this is a sunny bed or a shady one. Also, is that an oak leaf fern in the background of your picture?

These plants do better in full sun, but I do have some in part sun. The ones in part sun tend to get leggy and tall and sometimes want to fall over. So Full sun is best.
