Trilliums

My big trillium is getting ready to bloom! I wasn't sure how it would survive the winter in a pot even though I had it well mulched.

Ther two pots to the right and closer to the front are also trilliums, just differnt ones, but they are coming up, too.

handhelpers... Putting them in pots was just so I could bring them with me when I moved.

I don't think there's any advantage to being in pots....except, this big one has received more light than where I had it planted in my old shade garden. It's about twice the size from last year and healthier looking.

i put mine in pots for two reasons easy to move and i will know if something has been at it. also so i dont lose it when it goes dormant.
