having trouble with my outlook express

I Think my outlook has a mind of it's own, first thing, is I just posted on dave's forum(Still usingoutlook? get ready to get a bagel virus. ) that I needed to change to another email program. I have no idea how to do that. any help? and which one should I go with, I do have a hotmail addy, but never use it, because of all the junk I get. Also.

My problem now with outlook is that, my email addy is one address, and when I click on send email and email someone it sends my mail out from another email addy, it's taking my internet user name, the one I use to sign on to the internet and sticking centurytel.net after it and calling that my email. trouble is, I get mail back from folks when they reply to my email that I sent them, but when the add that addy to their email address book, and then send me a new email on that addy, It gets returned to them. How do I stop myoutlook express from sending out my emails with the wrong email address. How can I fix it to have it send my email addys under my right email address.

I had checked my email address book, and for somereason my email addy was in there, the wrong one, the one i'm not trying to use. it wasn't in there as my right email addy. I didn't put it there either, go figure.

anybody know what to do?
