Lavender Lady

Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

Has anyone had this plant ? It looks great, and I hear it's pretty hardy, at least the people at Monterey Bay Nursery have told me so.This is a Amethyst, not a Lavender Lady. They say they are the same, but the Lavender Lady doesn't bare fruit, is that right. The flowers look smaller to me also.

Mine is hardy in zone 8..It's out of the ground and growing like wild.

Well , mine is up . I put my trellis up facing SSW so it will get sun, but not too much. Me and the Lady, we will see. Thanks Larkie for the input. I have Victoria,Alatocaerulea,Allspice, and Alta Ruby Glow also. Here is my favorite(so far)Allspice, I just took this.

Don't ya just love the passiflora's? They are all so beautiful.. Your pictures are great..If I had a greenhouse or sunroom, I would be passiflora poor, LOL..

This is a wildflower where I live, and it forms a beautiful vine on whatever is available in the border of the woods. I watched these vines when I was a child, waiting for the fruits to form. The fruits look exactly like a green egg, and although we never ate them or made any food product from them, my sister and I used to use them to chuck at each other- just for the fun of it. I have lived on the same farm for almost 60 years, and that vine is still there each year. Now I chuck the fruit at my husband.
