Texas Mountain Laurel Seeds for SASE.

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

I have many of these seeds. The botanical name is Sophora secundiflora. I think it's an awesome tree. I would be willing to trade for tropicals, teas, herbs and oh, tropical. LOL. What can I say, I love tropicals. Especially tropical vines.

how do i make these germinate

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

Okay,
I'm back. Sorry about that guys. I've been tied up with RU. It's over now. So as I was saying... These seeds can be germinated by soaking them in water over night. Nip the seed coat and plant these in peat type soil. Keep them damp until they germinate. They can oftentimes take months to come up. I planted some in Texas and some were still coming up after 9 months of being sowed. This is a very slow growing tree/shrub but the blooms on these are absolutely amazing in looks and smell. I plan on going to Texas and bringing a large tree with me at some point. There are very few trees like it. I will plant some seeds too but they just grow so darn slow.

Hope,
I liked your yarrows. If you're still interested please send me your mailing address. Thanks.

Marclay,
The cattails you have caught my eye. Send me an e-mail if you are still interested.

JCF-- I hop I've answered your question on these.

Hi, I would love to try some also if you have some left. I have some variaged Bower vine seeds, Cat's Claw Vine seeds, Orange Noah mg seeds, and some other MGs. Thanks.. A

Gourd,
Will the variagated Bower vine seeds will produce variegated seedlings? Just wondering.

Mesilla Park, NM

Don't know for sure, have never planted them, this is the first time I found pods on them. They are new to me also. It seems that on the Vine and Climbers forum, someone did say they got some variegated seedlings..

Prattville, AL(Zone 8a)

Bugfreak, I got the seed's today & WOW! There were many...

Hi Bugfreak, I've done it!!!! yeepeee......lol

I've tried & tried & failed & failed!!! but much to my surprise this morning i found i have 3 lil' seedlings..(kinda stuck'em back and forgot bout 'em)....Im soooo excited!!

I'll keep ya posted and thanks again for the SASE

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

Dixie,
I honestly think that I might be more excited than you. This is awesome. I really am surprised at your success. These seeds were notoriously slow for me when I germinated them a while back. You will love these trees. I plan to one day go to Texas and bring back a nice size tree to put in my yard. They are just so darned expensive. I hope your update encourages everyone else who had these sent to them. I am glad you posted an update. Two days ago I was wondering how everyone was doing with these. Anyone else have anything to report?
