Lady Margaret Passion Flower

Denton, TX(Zone 7a)

Does anyone know where to get this other than Logee's? Their shipping is so high...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

http://www.gkexoticplants.com/Passiflora.htm They are temporarily out right now, but I'll bet if you order, it won't be long. $10 each passiflora and a flat shipping rate of $8 per order.

Also, BugFreak has it listed as "will have" on his/her trade list.

I have mine but I'm still wondering if it's large enough to take cuttings from. I may have to wait and give mine more time to grow before cuttings can be taken.

I wouldn't take cuttings until late summer if it were me. That would give it plenty of time to grow and bloom. If I take cuttings in August, I can usually get some of them to root. I can tell you that any of mine wouldn't be big enough to get cuttings from right now. Lady Margaret is a beauty. I placed an order for one, even tho they don't have it right now.

Thanks I would give the lady time to grow large before you take cuttings..you don't want to stress the plant.
I agree with how pretty LM is, I think I need one..I have heard that Lady Margaret is less invasive than others...has anyone else heard that?

This will be the 3rd year having Lady Margaret on a trellis in the ground in the front yard of my home in z8b. My original plant came from Logee.
LM does send out a few root suckers. I am really glad to get them since this vine is notoriously hard to root. To successfully transplant these suckers, one must dig straight down at least 8" to reach enough good root. I have killed a quite a few.
The first year I got a few nice blooms. Last year was wonderful-- lots and lots of flowers. Right now green is coming up from the original rootsystem. The suckers have not begun to show.
If interested, look at the threads that I have started.
