Tried something new with collard greens

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

I love collard greens, and I'm trying to cut out unwanted fats, so no bacon/salt pork.

I cooked a pound of greens in 2 cups boiling water with 1 tablespoon olive oil. When they steamed, I sprinkled about a teaspoon of sugar, and some salt on top.

On a whim, I zested half an orange into it that I had sitting nearby, plus the juice, and when cooked to my satisfaction, added the juice of half a lemon.

It was delicious. I think if I do it again, I'd leave out the sugar as the orange was sweet. It was a nice change!
