Didn't really know where to post this little creature ... we have a small creek that runs thru our property and found this today. Is it gonna be a Dragonfly?

Your critter looks like it might be a meal worm or a wire worm. If so both are the larvae of different ground beetles
Do they also live in water?
No, If I remember right I found the wire worm in leaf litter. Definitely on dry land. So this one was in the water?? Interesting! Whatever happened to it?
It's still living in my BIL fish tank, I'm taking his word for that however ... he also has live snakes as pets, so needless to say, I allow dh to take critters over there :)
We have all sorta neat things in the creek ... country living ;P
