Grad party suggestions

My dd is graduating from the Univ of Nebraska on May 8. (Woo hoo!!!!) We are having an open house at the local community center (just can't handle doing something at the house right now). She graduates at 9:30 and we are having noon to 4 p.m. open house. I called the local butcher and he sells a cooked shredded pork or beef for $3.50 a lb that we just have to reheat in roaster. I think that is an excellent deal considering the price of meat. So will serve that with buns. Also will make the oriental cole slaw recipe and probably have cake and chips. Any other suggestions for easy day ahead preparation? Am estimating that we will probably have 100 people come and go.
