And what would you do?

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

This is a wonderful Brug sent to me last year by my dear friend Diana, (Wanabegardener)and I just love it. I like the way it has big ballon flowers in the daytime and wonderful wide open flowers at night. The fragrance is very strong and heavy starting in late evening and going on to about sunrise. The other thing about it is the flowers stay on so long and really look pretty. The photos taken last night are of flowers that have been open about 3-5 days already. I am impressed cause it is pretty warm here and this is in full sun most of the day. Course the real test will be when we are consintantly in the 90's +.

At this time this brug is un-named and the only thing I know about is that it of Isabella X Butterfly done by Eric.

I have sent some photos to Brugie and tiG and I will take there advice and cross it back to Butterfly. But I would like to ask how and what others would do as well. And how do you like this one.
Let me know and don't be shy. If you would trash it tell me and if you would cross it with anything else let me know that to.....
Give me a few minutes I have about 4 photos to post of this one....This one is of it just begining to open..... :o)

I would also cross it back to Butterfly but if you have the chance to obtain pollen from Pink Beauty and/or Rosamond, try them also. EP would be a good choice too.

What a pretty night photo! You got advice from the best! LOL.

Why trash something you love! As time goes by, you may find others that captivate you more but until then, enjoy it!

You know one of the wonderful things about living in South Texas is most years we don't even get a frost. So that means it could be several years before I even cut this one back at all. LOL....I can see yall all drooling to. ....LOL...this one is really nice and I sure like the fact that the blooms are so long lived and smell sooo good.....
I know sometime this weekend I am going to remove it from its big pot and put it in the ground so I don't have to water so much. I have to water this one and the others in big pots everyday....that can get really time consuming and I know the hotter it gets the more I will have to water.....
I will be sending cuttings in the fall though since I have 3 of these....But will get some good crosses first.
I have this same cross sent to me by others so it will be intresting to see how they turn out. Burgie sent me a photo of one she had and it was different than mine, more of a Yellow Orange band around the bottom....she said it went to brug heaven....LOl...I have sent a few there myself....LOL...but by accident....
