stargazer lilly bulbs

Marshall, MN(Zone 4b)

Hi, I am new to this website and gardening. I planted 10 lily bulbs in the house to get a headstart and was wondering how long it takes for them to come up? (It didn't say on the pkg. ) and it's already been a week. I have everything in a sunny south facing window. Thanks, Lisa

Thanks! I find myself checking this site 3-4 times a day! I keep thinking of all sorts of things to look up. I'm really excited for this growing season. Blessings.

I planted lilies last year, and it seems like they took a long time to come up .... mine are Asiatics. I don't expect much out of lilies the first year, so I didn't really pay that much attention. Wish I had.

Welcome to Dave's ...

I planted stargazer for the first time this year, and it seems like it took about 3 to 4 weeks or so to see them sprouting...I did not keep track. I bought them on impulse, and planted them and left them alone :) I'm not 100% certain on the time lapse....I could not resist them.

I have some stargazers, and some callas that I put in pots inside about a month ago. They are just now starting to emerge. I'll post pics later.
