OK...I know this has been talked about many times before, but since I didn't have white flies....of course, I didn't pay attention. Today I'm looking at all my babies and some have yep....white flies! LOL I guess that is what they are, since they look like little white flies! and help greatly appreciated!

Brinda,we all fight them,I was good till the last month or so,I have put up some sticky traps,lucky they can go out soon,I think next year I am going to try the little wasps.
I got them around February in basement GH. Where DO they come from? Nothing was moved in or out of that room?
I shake the large brug leaves, if any fly out, I spray with flying insect spray, up under leaves and in soil. Have kept them way down, but not out! Will move plants outside soon.
When I first saw them,I was taking the plant over to my floordrain and hosing them off with a warm spray,then dosing the plant with Avid,they sure build up tolerence quick.
I too use a spray, like Gloria... and I would ALSO like to know where they come from! LOL I got all of mine as cuttings, with NO leaves, I sterilized the soil after they got roots, so I could pot them up... weird little things. Ive smooshed many with my fingers, they aint skeered! :o)

LOL Shelly!! That is what I do with aphids! I wash them down and the ones that don't go down the drain I squish! Ugh...but that is better than them living! I just hate them. I let about 100 ladybugs loose in the house and they took care of my aphids problem!
So, I shouldn't worry too much about the white flies doing damage to the brugs? I will be sure to spray them, hopefully that will help! This is my first year to have so many plants inside for the winter and I've never seen these little critters before!
