potting rooted brugs

Colorado Springs, CO(Zone 6a)

i rooted a bunch of cuttings over winter in water and they all have a good mass of roots on them. i am now about to pot them up in dirt- is there any special way i should do it to avoid shocking them with the transition from water to dirt? dont want to kill them!

Oh I can't wait for the answers.....I'm gonna be potting up my first ones in a week or so myself and haven't a clue.
Great Topic! :-)

I believe, the earlier you pot them, even when they are starting to nub up,the better,I have never had one slow down, because of to many roots.
I do think you want to plant deeper than the rootline.
I'm sure someone will be along here with better answers,I need more coffee!

You want to make sure you limit their exposure to direct sun, I keep mine misted through the day if they are getting to much sun, and I have no where else to go with them. They will look very droopy, and unhappy, but very shortly they will decide they are in a better place and perk up.
