Varigated Hosta for TRADE

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

I have lots of these green & white hosta to trade. They make nice clumps & are very strong. They grow well in part sun & full shade.

I'm looking for other Hosta varieties to mix into my new shade garden near my lilacs. I would also like Astilbe, Columbine or other shade plants. Anyone ?

Hi Wandasflowers! That is a beautiful Hosta you have there, not sure what it's name is but I don't think I have it.??
I would love one! If you look @ the Iowa RU thread you can see what I have to offer and decide what you want in trade. I'll be there. I do have gazillions of Double Columbine as well and am in the process of potting them up now, you can just have some of those too even if you want a hosta from my list too. :

I have tons of these hostas--I don't know where they all came from!

I'd love your double Columbine if you'd like to send them. I'll send you a bunch of the varigated Hosta. Did you look at my trade list? I'll bring a trunkload of perennials to the Iowa Roundup, but you can have "first pick" now....

Wandasflowers--I love your pretty hosta. Would you be willing to trade for one of these I ordered from Bleek? I ordered Fort Minute Man--Sieboldiana Frances Williams---Undulata and Night Before Christmas. If you alredy have these, I'm making another order this week. Let me know what you want and I'll see if he has it. eflowergarden

Gledamoore--a trade sounds good! Send me an email--I will be generous with this Hosta! More clumps than I need by far!

Grow it green--I'd love the Sum & Substance + other hosta & Columbine. How many do you need? I can cram a few pots & save them for you at the Round up..

Hi Wandasflowers!
I can't go to the RU :<( Have a great time for me though!
I think I already have this hosta. Here's a pic, what do you think? It's F. 'Undulata Albomarginata'. With space an issue I better not double-up.
The tall asters you sent are doing wonderfully, I can't wait to see them bloom in the fall! I hope your double Columbine and 'Lemon Lime' are doing well for you!

So here goes again....

Hi Wanda,

How about petesites japonica variegata. I love growing it in shade. Here's a photo. I would love to trade it for your hosta. If you don't like it, I can offer you some other shade love plants for your zone. For full sun I have a 7 foot Canna Omega with peach blooms.

Thanks,

Daisy

Flowerjunkie--looks interesting. How tall? I'm working on a shade bed under some lilacs that needs lightening up.
