I Give Up

Rock Hill, SC(Zone 8a)

This is what was left of the ones I lost this winter, and now they are shot. I had two great plants last year and I hope they will start again but I tried to start some over winter and you can see the results. Guess I can look at yours and enjoy them.

There is still life there!
Don't give up!

I find it hard to start cuttings during the winter. My best luck with them is if I take them in August and no later than early September.

Poorgeorge, are you coming to the GA swap?
I have too many brugs, and can give you some pretty big ones if you are going to be there.

George, don't you dare give up! We are constantly learning more and more about growing brugs, and you aren't the only one who has lost winter cuttings!

I have learned that I won't even TRY to take late cuttings, or if I do, will keep them in water over winter till early spring.

Come to the GA swap, we'll fix you up sweetie, K?
