When I purchased this plant I was told it probably wouldn't get more than 2 feet tall, although the species can reach 10-15 feet. I'm stretching the zone hardiness with this here in 9b, so ask me next spring! :-)

Mine is about 3' tall now. Had it for 1 1/2 years. It's getting broader as well as taller.

Bought two when they were about three feet tall six months ago. Now close to five feet. Have had to replant because they spread so much. Zone 10... Delray Beach, Fl.

Suffered through the winter, began to make a comeback......then it became the main course for the pocket gophers Spring Pigout!!

It's a beautiful plant with the "pinking shears" margins.
