If I have sent you seeds...

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

If I have sent you seeds, I would like to know how they are doing. The reason I ask is because I don't know how well all of the things I send grow from seed. Many of the plants that I have came with the house or were acquired as plants or bulbs. Since I don't have all that big of a yard, I've not had a need to propagate most things, either. (This is Kelli Kallenborn of California.)

I don't know yet, because I am not starting them until this coming weekend - I was horribly sick and now will be out of town. But as soon as I get back I'm starting and I will be sure to email you and let you know. I'm guessing peppers are heat - tolerant enough to survive the hot part of summer here. I never saw one that couldn't, as long as it had water.

I should tell you I have friends from here who are looking forward to the extras if I get good germination. I didn't even think of it but one is from Mexico and gets letters from family there, and the other has friends in other parts of the world also - I'll ask them to save cancelled stamps for you.

If they can take the heat here (which they can), they can take the heat there. Of course, they aren't particularly drought tolerant.

I'm just moving this back to the top, as I am still curious as to how the seeds are performing.

Well, I've not used any b/c of packing ... may have to move; real fast, soon.
I'll let you know in March or next spring.
