April Fools - rain and SNOW???

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

Well, even the snow greens the grass up this time of year. It is precipitating in rain, ice and the occasional big, fat snow flake.

Stan has shut himself in the shed and is deconstructing the dump trailer so he can fix it in a proper manner. I am up in the nice, warm study (there's a fire in the wood furnace again) working on Melissa's baby quilt. I cut all the square pieces too big, so I have to cut them down to fit as I go along. Could have been much worse if they were all too small!

Melissa's is a bit more complex - playing favorites.

Eva Mae, you asked about my arthritis. I've been not ignoring it, but not acknowleging it, either. I've been very careful so far, even though I've done a bit of garden work. All of this up and down business with the weather - 70 on Monday, 35 today, is what is really hard. I plan to continue on until I can't. I guess that's all we can do (well, that and the meds, nasty as they can be).

Ok, a little cheery note from me. My mother called last night and she said she stopped at my niece's, who is expecting in September. Leeann's little boy who is 2 was running around with only a diaper and a receiving blancket that was tied around his neck. When mom asked who he was, he said, "Naked Boy!!!" Then he crawled up in Mom's lap, his greatgrandmother, mind you, and said, "Do you have a baby in your tummy, too?"
