An Unwelcome Visitor!

Northport, ME(Zone 5b)

Don't know if this is the right forum to ask this, but we're really having a problem. A skunk has taken up residence under our barn. The barn abuts the dog yard on one side and its floor is made of wide boards with about a 1/2 in gap between them (built about 1800) . We have blocked the gaps where the walls meet the floor, and have spread mothballs in the interior of the barn. Problem is, the dogs, especially Tina, are flipping out...prey drive is fully engaged! They have begun to dig at the building itself, and the ground. I don't want to shoot it, it might spray, and the barn is attached to the house, so if it does spray, we're in serious trouble!! Any advice???We're pretty frustrated! Les and Frank
