Record time pods

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Two months ago I asked for some new Rothkirch pollen and other colors and types to cross to my aurea white seedling.Well you could say the pollen took! I did the cross on 2-16-04...pretty fast results huh? LOL Very large pods already. I also have one A. white X V. Orange pod..but it is growing very slowly.

Your pod is a thing of beauty! I love looking at pods so maybe someone will start a pod thread titled All Pods, All the Time to feed my podmania. LOL

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Kyle. My very first pods were set last September, so they were on a completely different timetable. I started off with 12 pods, 8 of them aborted before they were ripe (even though they had been on the plants for MONTHS). I have seeds from 2 of them, and 2 of them are still on the plants.
