RUSH RUSH RUSH

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Make believe this is a picture of a pink brug! LOL

It seems all day long I just rush rush rush. I never seem to get to enjoy for what I work so hard. So tonight after 8PM, when I got home from work and doing errands, rushing inside to get some dinner cooked before my DH got in, and having 4 cats tripping me because it was way past dinnertime! I looked up and saw such pretty blooms!

I ran inside, threw in a frozen lasagne, opened 2 cans of cat food. Poured my self a glass of excellent wine, ran outside and pulled up a chair under a canopy of blooms and just sat there in the crisp stillness of the evening, sipping as I enjoyed all around me!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, I hope you fed your DH the lazagne instead of the catfood! Hope you get to slow down and enjoy your flowers soon.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Looks like a good spot to kick up your feet and sip a glass to me!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Had to laugh, I was thinking the same as Susie, hope you didn't feed DH catfood and cats the lasagne!

My computer has lost its' color, but I sure can imagine PINK!
Son is coming to pickup my hard drive and try to fix it. Don't know if I can make it through the day without my 'puter!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It is a Japanese flowering cherry, Prunus serrulata.

I could have fed my DH the cat food and he would not have noticed. He is so tired. He has been working 7 days a week, 12 hour days now for weeks. Just another 15 days to go!

I think I am going to go back to having tea in the morning outside and a glass of wine at night outside. Time to enjoy! I wish you all could join me! We are having such glorious weather!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

So pretty Kell ... looks like a great place to relax. Enjoy!!

Good thing it wasn't a couple days sooner he may have gotten the catfood.

Mesilla Park, NM

Oh Kell, you are so cheery and really cheer me up, I did something kind of dumb. I have been trying so hard to germinate those darn passion vines and finally, did get some seedlings but by the time they grow up,,,,,. Well, I went to Lowes and found some that were in five gallon pots (Vitifolia) and nabbed two. I just want to see some blooms before I die lol.. and sat there in the mornings drinking my coffee and hubby even joined me. With this weather it is so perfect right now to be sitting out there.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh Gourd, I am with you! I go for instant gratification! Life is too short to wait to enjoy! I agree, the weather right now is so great. Of course right now I sit here in front of computer, drinking my tea and bagging brug seeds, peeking now and then at my email and Dave's! I will have my second cup out on the porch! LOL

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kell, I love the blooms. I can't wait until mine blooms. I lost one last year to too much rain. So I went hunting this year for a replacement because I couldn't find one last year.I wanted to get an early start this year before they all got gone.I planted it last week.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Way to go kell...I am definately going to stop and smell the flowers this summer too.Way too busy and never get to enjoy the fruits of my labors. :-)

Thanks Dee! I love it also in my garden, though I do not think I own one pink piece of clothing. LOL

That is probably because you have to wear white all week. I'm not sure I have more than maybe one pink tee shirt. Kell, that rose is beautiful. You take great pictures.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I like taking pictures of roses more than anything else. I can take 200 hundred in an evening! I am so sad. My roses are full of buds. They have never been more robust. The first flushes are going to be breath taking. And I am going to be East when they all open. Woe is me.

To keep the pink color theme, here is a pink wisteria I have blooming in long pink sheets in the back yard. I was late for work yesterday taking wisteria pics.

Wow, that is a beaut. Kell, late for work? I can't believe it. LOL! Too bad you are going to miss your roses blooming. How long will you be gone? My MIL had the same surgery and she got along great. Hope your mom does too. I think my MIL said it took about 11 minutes total time for doing one eye. She went home and did all her normal things.
