I'd love some but haven't a darned thing to trade. If you don't get enough trades, maybe we could do postage for some?

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

do you happen to know the name of it, cause I have scarlet sage coming up everywhere, wondering if it's the same thing, and I have greggi salvia it's red. thinking I might have it already.

kathy

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

All I know is it was tagged hardy salvia. It is about 2' tall or more

Irving (Dallas area), TX(Zone 8a)

I'd love to have some. I have a small Salvia farinacea http://plantsdatabase.com/go/127/index.html cutting that I would be glad to trade.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Paul can you root it?? I have never tried salvia before but plan to learn this summer. I may have that one. Can you send me a pic of it so I can compare it. I got some at Lowes last year but not sure if it is the same one. Tag only said salvia

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Paul I'm interested in some sedumand/or white iris. I'll email you

Melbourne, FL(Zone 9a)

i would like some if u have any left - -check my trade page and see if there is anything there you would be interested in

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Swtpl5, I didn't see anything on your list I wanted. do we have something else going on, or did we trade already one time, can't remember.

greta, what kind of perennials do you need to divide? I'm also looking for daffodil bulbs, not the common ones, I have those, hyacinths, not the mini grape, the regular ones,
looking for alliums too. got any of those

paul, i'll trade for the dianthus, about how much do you think you can send, I can send a clump that will fill a 6 in pot of anise hysop, it's got several plants in one cluster,

misskitty, I grow that salvia elegans every year, and it never comes back I know it's a TP , wish it wasn't, I just love the stuff. got anything that I mentioned above. hyacinths, daffodils, or alliums, I have the globemaster and gladiator ones,

paul send me your addy and we'll get this trade under foot. ok.

Donna, I"m thinking I already have your salvia, I have 2 diff kinds of reds.

No problem Kathy. Sorry I didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Kathy, the Hysops you sent me is establishing quickly and beginning to put on some new growth. Nice hardy little buggers. Thanks again for the trade.

RikerBear

Franklin, LA(Zone 9b)

what's a TP?
never comes back for you? weird..
it never really dies back here...and it makes babies all over the place...
hehe
nope, sorry.. i dont have anything else that you mentioned
that's ok, though
i probably dont really need anise hyssop anyway..
:)

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

TP is Tender Perennial

Franklin, LA(Zone 9b)

it's a tender perennial?!?!
whoa..
lol
i'd have never thought of it as being "tender"
hrm.. guess it's just cuz of my zone, or something

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I'm not saying it is a tender perennial....just answering what TP stood for.
Can't kill the stuff here. :-)

Franklin, LA(Zone 9b)

lol ok :)
here too..
last year i gave a friend of mine a tiny rooted cutting of the stuff... and now it's like 6 feet tall with about a dozen offshoots
lol
mine stay semi-under control because i keep them in pots to prevent them running rampant

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

yes miss kitty, darn things are tps here or I should really say annuals, never had little babies pop up everywhere, so wish I did, I keep trying every year, but they still never come back, I'll tell you what though I got that scarlet sage, and I have it growing in the front yard, where it's planted in the back yard, and hummers love that stuff. I tell my son, don't mow that thing down, it's a plant, he said Mom I have no idea what your plants are when their growing in the grass. LOL go figure. what's a mom to do.

rikerbear, so glad their doing good for you, their great little plants, I got little tiny seedlings now coming up everywhere, don't know if they'll amount to anything this year, but I hav e a feeling, i'll be shipping more out later on. LOL

Donna, no worries, you didn't hyjack anything lol, I'm learning here .LOL from all the posts

Greta, going to check your list, have to run kids to school then will be back to play.

kath
yeah we did a trade for pregnant onion and pineapple mint- which by the way is DOING FANTASTIC- sure wish i had something on list that u were interested in- -as i would love to have the ..i am not fond of postage but would u consider doing that-- oh i also have some walking iris- not a huge amount but got some babies on it - maybe u would like that -- it too spreads fast and has a little yellow flower on it that looks like a miniature iris-- i could cut a few babies off and send that ..whatta think???

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

swtpl5 I thought so, glad the pineaple mint is doing well, i would like to do some trades of the anise hysop first, then we'll see later on I don't have that many of them to move, I'm thinking they'll be traded out,

kathy

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

kathy_ann, I found some anise hyssop elsewhere, so you can take me off the bottom of your list. Thanks.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

oky dokey

kathy

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

oh yeah, Rikerbear, your lamium you sent me is doing great, forgot to mention that,

kathy

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Oh good, I know it was questionable per your last email to me. Knowing how hardy it is I had a feeling it would perk back up and take over your yard for you LOL
Remember you were warned hehehehehehehe

Marc

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

yep I consider my self warned, I have lots of play room though for it to go crazy, LOL

kathy

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Cool! You see no one warned me.....I bought this cute little 4" pot 2 yrs ago and now this stuff is everywhere. I pull and chop and cut (and curse), and it still just keeps coming.
Most of it in my front bed is in bloom right now, and it is lovely, but OH so unruley :-)

(Zone 4b)

I cant believe your talking about things blooming!!! The ground is still hard here! To me tender perennial means it freezes up and dies by october!!!! Alas... all you folks live in zones where you grow my houseplants OUTSIDE. sigh....
Kathy I sent you an email about my frozen alliums, let me know what you want to do. lol greta

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

kind of like my mints LOL

kathy

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Sorry Greta :-(

(Zone 4b)

no problem.. I LOVE where I live, the land and weather changes constantly. A good method for unruly spreading plants is to plant them in a pot in the ground to suppress runners.
