Cypress Gardens....

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow this is one of the brugs Catsmeow (David) sent me back in mid to late summer. It was at one time full of blooms but dropped them all due to a cold snap. I was nearly in tears and had I know what a beautiful flower it was I would have fell out kicking and screaming.....LOL

3 months, 3 months, I don't know how you stand it. My goodness you just get going good and its winter again. I am sick of hot weather by the time summer ends but when I hear what you have to contend with I am glad I have it.....
I can grow my brugs and just about anything else year round, only the really tender stuff suffers here. Some winters we don't even have frost but I guess you learn to live with it....LOL

Nice bloom. I gave my Cypress G. to my daughter. I'm hoping to get cuttings back this fall.

Karyn, I feel so sorry for you guys in NY that have to deal with all the snow and cold. It's bad in Iowa, but I feel fortunate to not have it as bad as you do.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Cypress Gardens was my best bloomer. It had so many blooms on it, they were touching the ground. I trimmed it way back last year into a tree form and gave awa oodles of cuttings.

If I typed something that didn;t make sense, just over look it. My pain level has been very high this week and I can't sleep because the pain gets worse when I lay down. Well about thirty minutes ago I took a pain pill and a sleeping pill and Im beginning to look like the last drunk at the bar and can't think any better than he either. LOL I hope to lay down and sleep a few hours

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Ada, you get to feeling better soon, very soon.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Ada, I hope you get to feeling better soon. I know you have a lot of work to do, but maybe laying back and relaxing for a couple of days would be best right now. Wish I were there. We could work together and moan together. My moaning days haven't started yet, but look out...they will be coming before long. Seriously, take it easy and get well soon.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks all. I slept four hours and that was a big help. It's just a flare up and will have to run it's course before it gets better but it will pass. Can't give into it or it'll get you down and it sure isn't the time of year to get bedridden LOL The only bed I want in is the flower beds.
