Can anyone recommend a good cookbook that uses fresh herbs? I would love to learn how to cook with them and also the dried herbs also. I have no clue as to what kind of herbs to use and how.
Any suggestions??

Herb cookbook
i don't know of an herb cookbook but, i have a book i think you would find handy.
the complete book of herbs and spices by lesley bremness & jill norman.
i got mine used (brand new) from either amazon, half.com or alibris. i shop all three it's hard to remember who was cheaper lol. it's a good book with pictures and uses with different recipes for making your own herbal stuff.
they did write a seperate book on each but i wanted both in one book.
i found:
the complete book of herbs and spices by sarah garland
the complete book of herbs by lesley bremness
the complete book of herbs: a practical guide to cultivating, drying, and cooking with more than 50 herbs by emma callery
what herb is that?: how to grow and use the culinary herbs by john and rosemary hemphill
the complete herb book by jekka mcvicar
all at www.alibris.com just now..
i've not actually checked any of these out tho, that i can remember, so .. i dunno which ones are the better of the group :)
Wow!! Thanks bunches. I have grown herbs before, but never put them to good use. DH doesn't like my cooking experiments. LOL
Perhaps these sites will help you in some way with cooking with herbs. Here you will find how herbs are used and some recipes as well. Perhaps you will flag one of these sites on your Favorites. Enjoy!

Thanks again!!
