ae ae nanner

Franklin, LA(Zone 9b)

i was just googling these.. they're so gorgeous, and that "other" gardening site came up in a google..
someone there posted that they've got pups for trade for other bananas
so, i just *HAD* to email them, asking if they would accept postage for one..
lol
i do hope they agree to it (doubtful)
if they do, i have no idea what i'll do with it, though!
pot plant, i guess?
what kind of dirt?
to fertilize/not to fertilize?
i know how much these things cost in nurseries and stuff, so if i get one for just postage, i'm gonna do my darnedest to not kill it!
but i'll need the help of all you experts here :)
i've just got one other nanner.. and i'm not really doing much for it, it's kind of just in a pot, doing it's banana-thing
lol

Don't be surprized if the postage is 100 bucks.......

Miss_kitty, good luck. This one is hard to grow, very sensitive. The pups from what I have read may or may not be varigated. It does not like much sun and little wind and the soil ph must be 6.0.
