Question About Texas Tarragon

Someone sent me seed of Texas Tarragon. What is the difference in it and the French Tarragon I grow and do you use it the same way in recipes which call for Tarragon? Thanks!

I'll bet the Texas tarragon is Tagetes lucida or Mexican tarragon..it's easier to grow in the south.
