You should see the nice healthy brugs and dats Gretchen brought me this morning. She is such a cute little sweetie. I wish everyone could meet her in person like I just did. She drove into town in the cold rain just to bring them to me. Even though I just met her in person, I feel as if I've known her for a long time. She and her hubby live right across the road from where one of our daughters and family are getting ready to build. I hope that she and my daughter can become good friends, because Gretchen is the kind of friend that everyone should have.
My New Brugs
Lucky you Sylvia. I've always thought Gretchen would be a great friend to have. Hope you all can see each other often. She has a wealth of knowledge to share when it comes to raising plants.
Oh my gosh - thank you, Sylvia! I think that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said! You are such a sweetie, and I'm looking forward to meeting your Daughter and her family, and seeing you again, soon :)
And Shirley, thank you - that's very sweet of you! You're the person with all the plant knowledge, and you've taught me so very much!!!
Sylvia: I sure hope at least one of those brugs ends up being a gorgeous one for you...
hugs,
Gretchen
If one of them does turn out to be gorgeous, I might be persuaded to give you a cutting, Gretchen. LOL Really, Gretchen, the more I think about you driving on Hwy. 281 in the rain to bring me those plants, the more I think I at least owe you lunch.
Sylvia...Bless your heart -- you don't owe me lunch or anything else! I was happy to do it!!! God blessed me with an abundance of beautiful brug babies, and I was so happy to share in my good fortune with You, who appreciates them. Like I said, I just hope there's a good one in there :)
Oh how wonderful.
really, so sweet!
Gretchen, you and Sylvia are just so sweet. It was so nice of you to share with Sylvia. I know she loves them.
Sounds like a real sweetie. Maybe one day I'll get to meet all my TX neighbors too.
It would be fun to have a South Central Texas RU... Maybe one of these days...
Gretchen, that would be wonderful.
