Hello to all those people with dirt under their fingernails. I'm Gil and new to Daves garden.About 3years ago I bought my first house and it came with a blank landscape. At first I went a little nuts planting anything that was green, and in some cases brown. About this time last year I found Garden Watchdog and their list of good and bad. BIG HELP!! And last weekI discovered Daves Garden. I am looking forward to picking all your minds and getting as much free advice as my composted mind will hold. Happy spring and happy digging to all. Welcome from Oregon. I live on the east side of the state where there is snow, cold wind, not much rain, and hot summers with lots of sun. Another challenging climate. I've also bought mail order plants in years past that appeared dead or frozen, and was told to give it some tlc and a few weeks to wake up. Ha! they were DOA, the tlc should have happened before I got them. Really disappointing. I'm glad you found the watchdog. Happy gardening. See you around.
