I'm planning an herb bed and so is my DS, but both of our yards get visited by all sorts of wildlife, including deer. I don't really want to use a repellant, just need to know if I need to put up fencing to protect my garden.
We'll be growing a wide variety of cooking and medicinal herbs. (Hopefully none that deer consider to be "bonbons", LOL)

Deer consider most gardens bonbons..
I would put up a fence ... and that will probably not be a sure deterrent.. check with your county home extention service for recommendations for your area for the type of deer you have.
Thanks, Barbi. I was rather afraid that would be the case. Having seen them up close and personal, I know they are white tails (with that HUNGRY look in their big "Bambi" eyes, LOL).
