I found buds on a seedling!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This was one of many seedlings that did not bloom last year. I have been hoping they would bloom before I needed to plant my new seedlings so I can decide to keep or toss.

Don't they look like aurea buds?

Kell, definately exciment in the air...along with the sweet smell of brugs. I just planted some of your seeds, then had to give them to a friend because I came back to the states for 3 weeks and didnt want my seeds to die while I was away.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh, I'm really slipping. I posted but must have forgotten to hit send. LOL!! Looks aurea to me. Hope you have something really special there. Pictures, pictures!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Is this one of your crosses Kell?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It looks like a mix of aurea and suaveolens.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Hope that will be a winner bloom, Kell.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I will see if the tag is still in the ground. My tagging last year left lots to be desired!! This year i will do it entirely differently!!

So congratulations Shelly! We have missed you! Tell us all about the event!

Is it because they are long and thin that you see suaveolens Monika? My BF X L'A buds were shorter and fatter though a similar shape.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Thank you girls! It was a wonderful time!! It feels great Shirley.. lol not much different.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Thank you all again! It was an amazing day!

I checked the tag, it is BF X L'A. Should we take bets what color it is? LOL

My old wisteria bonsai is flowering. Poor thing is tucked in under all the brugs. It is so neglected! I couldn't get a good picture but this gives you the idea.

That's beautiful, Kell. I love Wisteria. Mine hasn't ever bloomed as of yet. Maybe this year.

Orange Park, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh I love wisteria too & sure miss mine this time of year

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I can't get a regular one to bloom and you get a bonsi to bloom...not fair kell!

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Wisteria is invasive here in my area, but I really want one of those evergreen wisteria, the flowers are so lovely.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I love your little plant Kell. Looks so pretty all dressed in lavendar.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am wisteria obsessed. I even drive miles to visit my favorite wisteria every year. I have so many in my yard. I should count them!! I have 3 growing as vines, 11 as standards, and about 8 as bonsai. I have 2 kinds of white, pink and every kind of purple I can find. I just love them so much. My favorite is the double purple.

Great color. I wonder when they are to bloom in my zone. I haven't even checked to see if mine is still alive. This will be the third year for it.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Love that blue, sure hope mine is still alive.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow, Kell, you are obsessed. They are beautiful

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I love them also but they will not do it in my climate.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Very very pretty Kell!!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Kell, such a nice bonsai wisteria blooms. I just moved mine out my bonsai storage room a couple of weeks ago. Sure hope we don't get any severe freezing. Two years ago I lost all of the buds and blooms. You surely have a great collection of wisteria. Donna
