Are they really around 20.00 each? My friend went crazy when she found nice size ones for 4.96. She bought 10?

Clivia grow slowly until they get well established. $5 is a very good price depending on size. Even here where they are common, a gallon container plant is anywhere from $15-20.

I recently purchased one in full bloom from Lowes,growing in a 6inch plastic pot for $22.

A local nursery also has some nice 3gallon plants for the same price and they are bloomng size plants.
