Some plants are funny like that, pleasing to some but not to others. I just ripped out my Cestrum nocturnum because I couldn't stand it any longer:-)
Do you happen to have any extra seeds from this plant?
Pretty plant. I've never seen this before.
Thanks, Shirley. It's called "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" because the flowers turn a different color each day before it fades.
Sassytiger, I've never seen seeds on this plant and don't know if it can be propagated by seeds.
Thanks anyways
This plant facinates me the way it changes flower color, not once, not twice, but three times in 3 days! I bought mine at a department store. They had only one plant marked down half price. I asked the person in the nursery section why the plant was half price, because it was blooming and looked fine. The person in the nursery told me there was nothing wrong with the plant. It was the only one they had left and they needed more room, so they placed the plant on a half price sale. I guess it was my day of good fortune. The plant has stopped blooming, but it has put out new growth like a "wild-fire", and I can't wait to see it in full bloom again!
Very interesting, I too have not seen this. Some of the pulmonarias can change color as their blooms age but not this quickly.
I planted seeds last June and they have not germinated as yet.

I saw this shrub this winter at Bok Towers in Lakewales, Florida. It was breathtaking and a friend told me it was called, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,
I decided I really wanted one but did some research on it and found that it's toxic to people and animals if ingested. So, I decided not to get it. I don't have small children but I do have a dog. However I've never seen him show any interest in flowers or plants that we have inside of the house. He's even picky about his dog food. So, I might go ahead and get one.

I had several of them in Houston, huge bushes filled the yard with perfume. Bloomed for about three weeks, about this time of year. Love it, hope I can get it to grow out here. They definately have seed and make no bones about popping out of the ground. I had to keep them pulled up or they would have taken the yard.
neat plant
