This is the one I was going to throw away and someone talked me into keeping it so I could see what it would do for me this summer. It has grown in my livingroom all winter, dropped leaves, grown new ones, and never once put on a bud. I'm having a hard time with this baby. Georgenpalais is the name, driving me crazy is the game......he better bloom beautiful this summer. LOL!! Does anyone have a picture of their own that could be posted for comparison?
Remember this one?
Whew, remind me to bump this thread, when you are ready to thin out again!I like it,hard to tell, with the indoor picture, but it sure looks close to Isabella.
She is a lot darker than Isabella. When I was whining about it, her color had not come in yet. At that time, I was thinking she was so much like Isabella that I didn't need her, but she is better in my book.
Sure looks like she has good color separation
Brugie, I am too new to be at all familiar, even with the names let alone colors. Your photo is gorgeous, and I love your phrase about the name Georgenpalais. Donna
Thanks Donna, I think I just need to get out more. LOL!
That is some awesome color. Do you keep her in full sun or partial shade?
Thats pretty ... nice photos!
I had her(feels funny calling a Georgen a her, lol) in morning sun, afternoon shade last year. I hope I've got her in the same amount of sun this year, but I'm still trying to figure out the sun/shade areas of my yard.
Shirley looks like you better hang on to her. lol Looks like a beauty.
Beautiful Shirley. Same me a cutting if you decide to get rid of it again.
Is this a big flower? Looks good to me!
Give her a chance Shirley.
I don't have this one but the bloom looks pretty. Don't throw her away, Shirley. If you decide to get rid of her, save all of us greedies a cutting. LOL
Kell, it has a pretty big flower.
Okay, gotta put this one on my wish list, love that color.
I'm sure that I'll not keep the whole plant this fall, so there will be cutting material.
I keep coming back and looking at this one Shirley! The blooms look huge and I think the color is very pretty. I especially like the color on Susie's bloom. Good Luck with it!
I sure hope she is a good bloomer because I put her in the barrel on the front deck. I've only seen the indoor blooms. She was very late last year, to bloom.
So many brugs to covet, so little room!
Mine is blooming now for the second time this year. I meant to get a picture of the blooms. If the wind hasn't beaten them up too badly when I get home, I'll take a pic.
Shirley I hope she brings you lots of joy. She is lovely. How you all can bare to part with any part of such lovely creations of nature is beyond me at this point. I guess when I have been at it a few years I will understand. I want raid everyones compost pile! LOL
I found a cutting for this one this evening going thru Brugs. LOL I have Brugs, I didn't remember I had.
Can I get on the list for a cutting of this brug this fall?..please.....
I'll have to see a lot more growth out of mine before she will have much cutting material. If I like her, I'll probably keep her in one piece. If she produces any basal shoots, I'll root them as they come up for some of you. Everything is a big IF right now. With the weather we have been having, I'll be lucky to have any brugs left in a week. GL lost her Y'd top tonight in the wind. This is getting old. Time for a nice summer.
Brugie, did you keep him? My GP is not doing much right now, but it has been blooming a lot. I don't think it likes full sun, what do you think?
Susie, I kept it and it gets full sun at midday. Right now it is full of buds, so I'll just have to watch and see what it does.
I think you'll like it when you see the flowers. It is a beautiful dark pink.
I'll have to add this one to my wish list.
bump
