E-mail won't go

A woman wrote to me through Dave's asking for the recipe for muster bread that I got as a response to my question in "Recipes". She claims to be an Ex member, so I saved that particular page to a file, started an E-mail to her address, attached the file, tried to send. Error message #112. Won't send. In the past I dump Netscape and my server, start over, go directly to mail and it works. Any ideas? I know non-members can't post, but I didn't know they couldn't read post replys. Am I being scammed?
