Anyone grow Hibiscus from seed? Any tips or links to good info? I got a nice pack of asst seed in a round robin box and now am not sure where to go from here :-)

I have. Once.
This baby is ½ year old and still so small. Now it started to grow again because of the spring.

I sowed it in normal flower soil and sand mix and it germinated easily.

I am soaking my seeds.
Soaking in plain water, or diluted H2O2, or mild bleach solution?
Plain water, didn't even think to worry about bugs. Don't think bugs bother those seeds like brug seeds.

I don't know how to post a hyperlink but if you go to American hibiscus society and then click on links it takes you to propigation.They also have free seeds.
For seed reguests send to Bob Carran 13190 113 Ave. N. Largo, Fl 33774. They also accept donations of seeds and wood.I think its an org. well worth joining if you are into raising trop hibiscus.
