Gosh Susie, that first is so pretty!! Do you ever get seeds? Liz would love to have some seeds of these I do believe. I am hoping my orange one will get seeds. Now it has green seed capsules but they are very wet and green inside.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kell, they made seeds last year, didn't think to save any.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Susie I don't have those for sale, I just collect them. Think I should? I love them, and so do the hummers! I did a little surfing last night and think I may have found us some more Abutilon, I think I will order those and get some ready for June.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Don't know what the Cespia could be... the spelling must be off. Could you mean Cestrum?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Poppysue, I couldn't figure that one out either.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gosh, you people are up late and up early. I can't keep up. Marie, I had some iochromas one year and was very disappointed in them. I'm going to try again and see what happens. I had the best luck with the red one I had. They can get big.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

TLynn, if you have any to sell, I would be interested in the first one.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I have the Iochroma but I've never seen or heard of the acnistus. I'll have to try to find a source for it. LOL

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Marie:

Are you getting the brugs for your Mother? I have some extra seedlings in 4" pots that are getting huge. They are named crosses, but I don't know what they'll look like. I would like to share with you. If you are interested, please e-mail me. Gretchen

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

if you decide to sell i will be in line Tlynn.

i dont know a friend told me cespia maybe it is cestrum. either way i didnt know either of them. i am gonna check out the nursery. i think i might try one.

my hubby is going to have a fit but i want to try one. hehe thanks all Marie

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Those are neat! Could the other be Caesalpinia? I probably butchered the spelling, but I know what I mean. LOL It is otherwise known as Mexican bird of paradise.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Badseed, we have those here, they get huge! They are beautiful when they bloom.

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

My iochroma are a mess, flopping around all over. Can I cut them back like the brugs? If I can, will the cut -off parts root like brugs? Would be agreat way to have more plants! They are just so leggy. I love the little clusters of the flowers, tho, so hope you say I can cut them back, otherwise I'll repot them and stake the floppy stems.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Anna, that is what happened to mine. Too messy, all over the place. They had to go bye bye!

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Oh, but Kell........I spent too much money to tell them "Hasta la Vista...baby". LOL I may try cutting them back unless somebody here tells me I can't.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I had to cut mine back last year. It delays the flowers for a few weeks, but they did come back more bushy and not as floppy.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I have read that iochromas like to be pruned, so I cut mine back quite a lot.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Susie, what don't you have there?? You are killing me! LOL I used to trade for all sorts of wild stuff, just to see if I could grow it from seed then send it south come winter. Funny thing is, a lot of those seed came from friends in TX. LOL My seed starting is much more low key this year. ;)

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but just have to ask how you are doing, Badseed? Time is getting close.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Ruby_Tuesday has grown them from cuttings and says they aren't that hard to start. You might want to give her a jingle and ask her how she does it.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Hi Sylvia! I'm still hanging in there. She could come any day and I think she wanted to on Saturday night. I have tried to will myself to stay pregnant until we all get over a cold, and my four year old gets over her asthma/respiratory woes. Looks like it won't be long now. I'm in the safe zone at 38 weeks and several days. :)

Back to your regularly scheduled thread..... giggle

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Michele, I think about you often. Hope everything goes well and you know, we will be screaming for pictures as soon as possible.

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)
