I sent them an e-mail and told them it was definately not an Arborea.
Ebay
LOLOL Ada. You go girl!!!!!!!
Good catch Ada.
Now I've already purchased two from Ebay that were supposed to be Arborea and they aren't but at least they weren't written up as a pink. LOL
Gotta keep 'em honest....lol
Way to go, Ada
This person prolly bought the plant with that name. I forget who... but one place sells it as arborea. Maybe Parks... or White Flower Farm.
That person could have gotten it as Arborea Sue but if they don't know by now, it isn't Arborea, then somebody needed to tell them LOL
They must have changed it, doesn't say arborea anywhere now.
For a minute there I was going to run and place a bid! LOL. I would love a pink Arborea Ada! And then it is just another Frosty!!
Ada, they must have taken your e-mail to heart!
That's great. Too bad some of the people, who have datura and brugmansia mixed up in the catalogs, don't make changes as easily. Even in the next catalog that comes out, they are still wrong. This must have been a nice person on Ebay.
Since I'm so new to Brugs, I would have never known the difference! So is Arborea a type of Brug or a different plant altogether?
I get all confused also Karrie. But it is a brug but from a different group than the other brugs. It belongs with the sangs and vulcanicolas. These are mostly cooler loving brugs.
Check out this page

and specifically Arboreas

A lot of times when you see brugs in magazines they say they are arboreas. Arborea, meaning tree. Arborea is one of the 6, arguably 7 species of brugs. Arborea is a brug species. Magazines seem to think all tree size brugs are arboreas. Not so. They are specific and not all that common.
Interesting!
