Bert to go with Liz's Ernestine

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I just love this little guy. I thought I'd lost him, but I didn't. He just lost his tag on the way to Texas. I still have three or four that I can't tell what they are. I tagged them and wrote on the stems, but when stems freeze, they tend to get a bit slimy and then it's hard to read what's written.

Susie he is beautiful. Yep I have tried to read some of your writing on stems not always easy. lol

Having trouble with my shorthand Peggy???
I think when I write the names that I will remember what those letters stand for, then I forget. Then people email and say "what does this stand for" and I just draw a blank.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

I can't help it, I'm in love with Bert!
The coloring and form is just the prettiest I've ever seen.
Or should I say handsome, lol. Cala, you can post as pics of him as you can, I won't tire of looking :)

The flowers turn upoward on this one, right?

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Nah Susie it's just hard to make out some of the letters sometimes. Of course I would never admit it might help if I put my glasses on. lol

Kell, they point out more than up. I used it in some hybridizing last year, I'm anxious to see how the seedlings do.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Beautiful! Is that my cutting? I think I see my name, written right there on the stem. See it? Right there.

Susie they all look wonderful, I am so happy for you. Your yard is going to be gorgeous in no time at all. Just save me a seat by the pool, with a cooler and I will be there as soon as possible, I sure do miss you.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I miss you too Tracey, you're just gonna have to move down here somewhere between me and Frannie!
I looked but couldn't read the writing on the stem, you know how my stem writing is lol.

I would in a minute, if I though my family wouldn't throw a fit. We will just have to make plans to get together more often! When things are slow here, I can make a trip down there.

Dripping Springs, TX

Susie I remember emailing you about about your ahhh chicken scratch on a few tags LOL

Are Bert and Ernestine getting married?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

DR, I'm good at chicken scratch, I wanted to be a doctor at one time, lol. Then I discovered I couldn't stand the sight of blood, not good when one wants to operate!
I think Bert would make a good partner for Ernestine, wonder if she's single and available???

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm growing Bert X Whiskers or the other way around. I'm thinking that could end up being a looker too. Great picture Susie. Bert is a handsome fellow.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I always considered Whiskers as a guy also.

Olathe, KS(Zone 6a)

I have some seeds of a Whiskers cross soaking now. I hope they are as wonderful as these pictures.
NICE! Jeff
